1Leads welcomes first-generation college students to Regis University through on-campus activities, speaker series, and social gathering. Students will have the opportunity to build community with other first-gen students, connect with faculty & staff, and learn about valuable academic and campus resources. By addressing the unique characteristics of this population and the intersectional identities that exist within, the goal of 1Leads is to reduce barriers for first-gen students thereby catapulting students to a successful college experience.

Membership Benefits
During a students senior year of undergraduate studies, students must participate for a total of 50% of meetings and events during the academic year to receive a 1LEADS stole. 1LEADS is considerate of outside commitments and unforeseen circumstances and as a result we are open to communicating regarding stole allocation based on previous participation during other academic years using campus groups. Alpha Epsilon Delta is the national honor society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and others. The society welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of professional healthcare careers. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community. Educational and service meetings are open to all.

AED has activities such as panels from health profession schools, registration information, suture night, scavenger hunts, resume building workshops, research night, visiting the cadaver lab, and many other awesome events!

Membership Benefits
Members of ASA will gain leadership skills, service experience, and connections to their peers within Regis and the larger Denver community. Previous programs and events for members and the Regis community have been Lunar New Year Celebrations, Moon Festival, Trivia Nights, and other fun activities spread throughout the academic year. ASA membership is open to any Regis University student, faculty member, staff member, or administrator, and associate membership is open to all community members.

The purpose of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society is first and foremost, to create a community of students within Regis who are interested in science research and related endeavors. TriBeta will provide information on topics relating to science, such as summer research internship applications, graduate school applications, science career options, and faculty research opportunities.

Membership Benefits
Members of Tri-Beta are not only part of a national honors society, but will gain knowledge on career paths in the sciences, professional development skills, and the opportunity to participate in fun activities. Some anticipated events for the upcoming semester include but are not limited to, visiting the butterfly pavilion, exploring research labs at University of Colorado Anschutz, and going to the cadaver lab.

Please note: Tri-Beta is designed as an alternative for students who are exploring options outside of the medical field, so anything related to medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, and other medical professions may not be addressed by this club. Having said this, students interested in these fields may still be members if they are so inclined.
