1Leads welcomes first-generation college students to Regis University through on-campus activities, speaker series, and social gathering. Students will have the opportunity to build community with other first-gen students, connect with faculty & staff, and learn about valuable academic and campus resources. By addressing the unique characteristics of this population and the intersectional identities that exist within, the goal of 1Leads is to reduce barriers for first-gen students thereby catapulting students to a successful college experience.

Membership Benefits
During a students senior year of undergraduate studies, students must participate for a total of 50% of meetings and events during the academic year to receive a 1LEADS stole. 1LEADS is considerate of outside commitments and unforeseen circumstances and as a result we are open to communicating regarding stole allocation based on previous participation during other academic years using campus groups. Alpha Epsilon Delta is the national honor society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and others. The society welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of professional healthcare careers. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community. Educational and service meetings are open to all.

Regis University’s Alpha Sigma Nu honor society seeks to honor and empower the honor students of Jesuit colleges and universities who distinguish themselves in scholarship, service, and loyalty to the ideals of Jesuit education. Alpha Sigma Nu shall furthermore inspire all members to develop their gifts towards a lifelong commitment to the service of faith and the promotion of justice in solidarity with the Society of Jesus through the establishment, support, and proper functioning of Chapters in accredited Jesuit institutions of higher education and the ASN alumni network. The Regis University chapter shall serve as a broad honor society to recognize students across various disciplines, which differs from the department-specific honor societies that are currently active on campus. Additionally, the Regis chapter shall allow students opportunities to directly connect with different Jesuit communities of higher education to further develop their commitment to action and the service of others.

The mission of the Regis University Chapter of AISES shall be to increase the representation and support the success of Indigenous, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander students in their intellectual, academic, social, and professional pursuits in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and related disciplines–as well as to support the next seven generations of Indigenous people to be successful, respected, influential, and contributing members of the vast and ever-changing global community. In alignment with Regis’ Jesuit values, the chapter will seek to build a more just and humane world through transformative education, career-development, community, and social justice at the frontiers of faith, reason, and culture.

Previous programs and events for members and the Regis community have been Lunar New Year Celebrations, Moon Festival, Trivia Nights, and other fun activities spread throughout the academic year. ASA membership is open to any Regis University student, faculty member, staff member, or administrator, and associate membership is open to all community members.

The purpose of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society is first and foremost, to create a community of students within Regis who are interested in science research and related endeavors. TriBeta will provide information on topics relating to science, such as summer research internship applications, graduate school applications, science career options, and faculty research opportunities.

Members of Tri-Beta are not only part of a national honors society, but will gain knowledge on career paths in the sciences, professional development skills, and the opportunity to participate in fun activities. Some anticipated events for the upcoming semester include but are not limited to, visiting the butterfly pavilion, exploring research labs at University of Colorado Anschutz, and going to the cadaver lab.

Please note: Tri-Beta is designed as an alternative for students who are exploring options outside of the medical field, so anything related to medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, and other medical professions may not be addressed by this club. Having said this, students interested in these fields may still be members if they are so inclined.

Our mission is to provide a place where students can submit both creative works and research to Regis’s literary journals. 3333 is Regis’s Academic Journal and Loophole is Regis’s Creative Works Journal. We work to ensure that students can present their work to the community and be a published author in that process. We advertise, collaborate, edit, publish, and print these journals and the contents for the good of the community to promote education and the importance of creativity in society.

The main purpose of the International Student Club is provide support and assistance for internationals student in general. We seek to provide peer support for both current and incoming international students socially, academically, and mentally. We wish to provide a prepared and supportive environment for incoming students to better adapt with the U.S. culture.
Our goal is to connect international students with each other as well as the international student community with the U.S. students and vice versa. Another goal of our club is to promote our diversity and cultures to the Regis community in general.

We plan to host biweekly meeting for people to come and chat. We plan to hold cultural events like food exchange from different cultures/countries or celebrate important dates from different cultures/countries. We also plan to start a project in which we will connect international students from a specific culture/country to someone who wants to study abroad in that culture/country.

The purpose of the Psychology and Neuroscience Club is first and foremost to create a more cohesive community within the psychology and neuroscience department through engaging activities and events as well as provide a space for psychological and neuroscientific conversations between students and faculty members.

The club fulfills a unique need on campus by providing a student-led community dedicated to psychology and neuroscience outside of the classroom. While the Psychology and Neuroscience department supports students academically, there are many opportunities that the club can offer such as networking, community engagement, well-being resources, mental health awareness, and interdisciplinary discussions that are not currently met by another student organization or university department.

Regis Freeride aims to offer a platform to organize ride-sharing and transportation to the mountains to make skiing and boarding more accessible to students. Additionally, Freeride will connect students with others looking for a group to ski with, offer/ organize annual trips to destinations like Jackson Hole, and have events such as beginner days.

Freeride will host events such as an annual gear exchange, beginner days where leaders may sign up to guide a group of beginners around select mountains for the day, a beginning of the year social event, weekly ridesharing, and annual trips.

Ride Sharing:
In an effort to make mountain travel more accessible/ find friends to go to the mountains with, Freeride will have a members only spreadsheet/google doc where students can sign up to be drivers and post open spots in their vehicle. A standardized fee will be set (10$) for riders that will be paid to drivers to cover the cost of gas etc.

Trips:
Free ride aims to provide coordination for trips to destinations like Steamboat and events such as X games. Transportation for these trips will use university vehicles and cost will be divided among participants as well as discounted using club funding.
